Who Is FilmLaab? 🎥

Since its inception, FilmLaab has worked with over 100 brands, ranging from large-scale broadcast campaigns to monthly social content and ads, from podcast production to branding pieces. We’ve worked with household name brands and partnered with others to help make them what they are today.

FilmLaab is more than just a production company; we are an innovator in visual storytelling. Our journey from a simple vision to the dynamic reality you see today has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence. We’ve embraced the challenge, redefining what ‘Proven Methods of Production’ means in this ever-evolving industry. We are not just following established paths but are pioneering new ones and setting new benchmarks with each project.

Mitchell Thayne - Founder/Creative Director

Plays the role of Creative Director within the company, is the marketing brain behind our brand, and then Directs our highest stake projects.

Mike Every - Part Owner/COO

Plays the Operations / Partnerships role within FilmLaab. His ability to build relationships and push our team has been instrumental in our growth.

  • We also recently dropped our 2024 Showreel. After dropping our 2022 reel, we weren’t sure if we could top it… well, we did. Give it a watch and let us know what you think.

  • Our podcasting department has been taking off. Need help starting, producing, or editing your podcast? Please fill out this form, and our team will contact you.

  • We are wrapping on a website update for our community to be able to rent out our studios and gear if needed! Expect this in our next email within the next 2 weeks.

Latest Work: 🎬

Utah Jazz: 50 Year Anthem

The Utah Jazz began their 50th season this year. They asked FilmLaab to come on and tell the story. With their script in hand, we recorded drums in the studio, had a music artist customize and create song, sourced talent, location, props and pulled off the production and edit within 3 weeks.

Chirp - RPM Pain Test

Chirp asked FilmLaab to execute this ad for production and all post work. This was shot and delivered within 3 days. This was one of their most effective campaigns of all time.
